Anna Maria has worked at Vestlandsforsking as a senior researcher since 2018, and as an EU advisor since 2023, with responsibility for providing research support in EU-funded research projects, as well as facilitating collaboration between research, the public sector and business.
She has two masters: in international tourism at the University School of Physical Education and in international relations at Adam Mickiewicz University (both universities in Poznan, Poland). She has a doctorate at the University School of Physical Education. The title of the thesis was: "Physical activity of local communities in Poland and Norway - in the context of actions of the local government". Anna Maria also completed several courses in financial management and accounting, and project management.
Research interests are: tourism and technology, cultural tourism, international tourism, social aspects and management of physical activity, quantitative research and project management.
