The main objective of the project is to improve Bulgarian local authorities’ capacity to identify and implement specific measures on climate change mitigation and adaptation for urban planning based on analysis of their plans and implemented measures so far, as well as a review of international experiences and best practices. The project is promoted by the Bulgarian National Trust EcoFund (NTEF), and the Norwegian activities are led by the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (KS).
