Daniel has a Master's degree in Mechatronics from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. Previously he has been working with engine development at Volvo and instrumentation/control systems in the oil sector.

The PhD in Big Data that Daniel is working on, is a part of the “Teknoløft” project. The main goal of the Teknoløft project is to facilitate for more automation with robots in small and medium-sized enterprises, and to develop strong expertise within Big Data that can help businesses to use data analytics for innovation. Daniel have chosen to focus his work towards the energy sector in the region. The Energy companies have large quantities of data stored. And with the help of Big Data Analytics new knowledge can be found, that can help the businesses to take better decisions.
