Western Norway Research Institute will develop a knowledge-based and forward-looking nature policy document that balances green industrial development with nature and climate considerations in Kinn Municipality. The document will be prepared in dialogue with the local authorities.

The document provides a comprehensive and accessible presentation of international, national, and regional guidelines, the current status of nature and land use in Kinn, and the most essential tools the municipality can utilize for sustainable land-use choices.

Additionally, the project includes an inclusive participation process designed to ensure broad local support and establish a shared value base for future land management.
