Adapting Community Risk and Vulnerability Analyses for Climate Change (AdaptCRVA)
In this project a standardized community risk and vulnerability analysis (CRVA) methodology that is adapted for the changing natural hazard threat brought on by climate change will be developed. The project is firmly anchored in community risk and vulnerability research and is particularly relevant to the SAMRISK program goals. The project brings together both established and younger scientists from the traditionally separate traditions of technological and social sciences, in the areas of risk and security, climate change, and natural hazards and infrastructure engineering.
