In 2015, Western Norway Research Institute (WNRI) will be writing online articles on climate adaptation for a national climate adaptation portal, klimatilpassing.no. This portal offers information and advice to municipalities and others who seek insight into climate adaptation, climate vulnerabilitiy, and expected effects of climate change in connection with e.g. planning, management and maintenance work in various sociatal sectors.

In 2009, WNRI produced 35 web articles on climate adaptation in the county of Sogn og Fjordane on behalf of the cross-departemental programme Climate Adaptation Norway (administered by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection, DSB). In 2015, the Norwegian Environment Agency hired WNRI to assist in article production and text revision on the same portal, klimatilpassing.no
