Kjersti is project financial controller at Vestlandsforsking.

She is educated Bachelor of Business at Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia) majoring in banking & finance and fundsmanagement. She completed AFF's leadershipdevelopmentprogram Solstrand Accelerate in 2021-2022.

From 2018-2023 Kjersti held the position as chief financial officer and company secretary at Lerum AS, a marketleading manufacturer of jams and fruitjuice situated in Sogndal. She has prior workexperience from auditing and financial controlling. In 2024 she held the position as as head of finance of Sogndal municipality.

Kjersti joined Sparebankstiftinga Sogn og Fjordane as member of the board in 2022 and has since 2023 chaired the board of Sogndal Folkehøgskule. She was member of the board of Sogn U40 from 2021-2023.
