Frida holds an MA degree in Culture, Environment and Sustainability from Centre for Development and the Environment at the University of Oslo. The study programme focused on socio-cultural and political challenges associated with achieving sustainable development at both the local and global levels. Her Master’s thesis examined two different approaches to reducing the rising level of private consumption, with a special focus on individual attitudes to motivation, hindrances and responsibility for one’s private consumption pattern. As part of her MA degree, Frida completed a course in Environmental Psychology at the University of Kalmar in Sweden. She holds a four-year BA in Anthropology and Political Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Frida has been working as a Project Supervisor and Ecological Consultant at the consumer organization network Green Living, with particularly responsibility for the development of a net-based follow-up program, “Klimaklubben”, aiming to change individual consumption behavior. She has also worked as a Coordinator for one of FK Norway’s exchange programmes to Guatemala through Sund Folkehøgskole.
Frida will work on projects concerning sustainable tourism and local adaptation to climate change.
