As part of the project to establish a bachelor study program in information technology in Førde, Sogn og Fjordane, additional courses aimed also at people outside the university college should also be developed. The course “Bitcoin, blokchcain and the digital economy” was developed in collaboration with the Institute of economy and administration at HVL Sogndal and was teached for the first time in the fall of 2018. This report is an evaluation of the course
