Nils Arne has worked as an IT consultant since early 1980's. Educated as an IT engineer with degree from Bergen in 1984. Worked as a programmer, system developer at Kommunedata Vestlandet, later NIT and IBM until1999. During this period Nils Arne also studied intermediate subject  in physical education at Høgskulen i Sogn og Fjordane.
 

At Vestlandsforsking he has worked mostly as a systems developer, especially internet solutions. Lately his focus is on information- and system architecture.
