Dannevig is a PhD-candidate at the Department of Planning at Aalborg University and a Research Fellow at Western Norway Research Institute in Sogndal.

The thesis title is "Agenda setting the unknown: a study of climate change adaptation governance at the local and regional level in Norway" It provides new theoretical perspectives on how adaptation to climate change have been set on the governance agenda in multiple levels in Norway. The thesis consists of four articles published in high-ranking journal and a cover essay. The defence is being held in Sogndal, Norway, November 20 at 12:00 CET.
