Vestforsk arranges "ISO 15926 and Semantic Technologies"
Vestforsk arranges the seminar "ISO 15926 and Semantic Technologies" these days (6th and 7th of Sept.). It is the 5th consecutive seminar and the sponsors are GDF Suez and the Norwegian Reseach Council.
This year the number of participants is around 30, which is on the limit of what is possible to handle in this format. The number of participants is restricted because we want a seminar with a lot of interaction between speakers and participants.
ISO 15926 is a standard for data integration, mainly used in the oil and gas sector. Although the ISO standard has been the central theme for the seminar it has increasingly evolved to cover other semantic standards and technologies as well. This years headline is "Big Data", while last year's headline was Linked Data.
