Heather Broomfield has an honours degree in Public Administration and regional development from the University of Limerick and is currently completing a Masters degree in Innovation, Technology and the Law with the University of Edinburgh, where she has a particular interest in Intellectual Property. Prior to joining Vestlandsforsking, Heather worked for Shannon Development and the National Microelectronics Applications Centre. Heather has participated in numerous European IS and Regional Development related projects such as GeoShare, TITAN, ODIN, EMPLOY, InfoBusiness & ShIPP. She is also highly experienced within project development, having taken the lead role in the development of many successful projects at both EU and National levels. Heather is also the Managing Director of Euro Info Centre in West Norway.
