Infrastructure and networking

Access to infrastructure has become essential in today’s information society. Dealing with information technology infrastructure usually makes one think of the physical  networks, the broadbands and the internet access, but infrastructure is also about resources accessible through such a physical network.

In our projects we mostly work mostly with infrastructure in the way of broadband development for enabling service development and for the end users to be able to access these services. Much of our work is tied to the joint effort called IT Forum Sogn og Fjordane, an organisation established in 1995 to promote the work with ICT in our county (Sogn og Fjordane). It has proved to be a very successful way of organising the work and to involve people and organisations on a broad scale.
