The project will assess the role of local government when it comes to formal responsibility and financing active and proactive measures in relation to natural hazards such as hurricanes, avelanges, flooding and oil emissions from shipwreck. The project will assess the institutional as well as socioeconomic vulnerability of munciplaities towards climate change and natural hazards, and present suggestions as to reduce such vulnerabilities.
