The County Municipality of Sogn og Fjordane has initiated a development plan for bette cooperation betwen Sogn og Fjordane University College and Vestlandsforsking. The goal is to strengthen the research base in the county in order to better meet future challenges.

The development agreement focuses on two research areas: sustainable tourism and ICT (this project). The ICT part of the agreement will work with e-learning, semantic challenges related to the cultural sector and user driven public web sites (web 2.0) in eGovernment perspective.
