Memorable Adventure Conference 2014
We are delighted that delegates from about 30 countries joined us for the 3rd International Adventure Tourism Conference 22–26 November in Sogndal, close to fjords and glaciers, with opportunities for activities containing both culture, nature and physical activities. In other words: world class adventure tourism.
The objective of this conference was to explore contemporary and future issues in adventure tourism and exchange ideas and information on the "state-of-the-art" research, between researchers, educators, students and practitioners.
During the conference we enjoyed 80 presentations, several workshops, thought-provoking keynotes and a handful exciting outdoor adventures.
We believe that this was a memorable meeting during which new knowledge and best practices were shared, and professional relationships were began and enhanced.
